BEHIND THE FOOD

My Story

Please let me introduce myself as owner and chef of Art of Taste. 

My name is Chris, I have specialised in event catering within my 34 years in the catering industry. I trained at London's Westminster College to become a professional chef, proceeding my training working at some of London's prestigious restaurants and hotels. Further into my career I became head chef of events at London's Globe Theatre delivering all manor of parties and events both at The Globe and on the river Thames. The 3 plus decades of experience I have enjoyed lends me a wealth of experience in classic French and English cuisine that branched more widely into modern European, African/Middle eastern influenced foods.  

My knowledge base extends extensively into event management, from the point of booking I am always on hand to assist.

 Our focus has always been on great quality produce, locally sourced wherever possible, seasonality and most importantly listening to our customers wants and wishes. We will work with you to ensure you have nothing to worry about, we know how to cover all bases,  leaving nothing to chance.

HOW WE WORK

We cover Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset having professional production kitchens in both Kent and Dorset offering a selection of dining styles to best suit your big day or event. All of our food is transported in a refrigerated vehicle to guarantee safety and quality. 

We understand that every event is different and offer formal plated dining, relaxed sharing menus, stylish barbeques using joints of quality meats and fish. Or indeed a hybrid of all styles!

With menus from £24.95 per guest we look to offer great value as well as quality.

We also offer additional options such as canapes and evening food. Please send us your enquiry to see how we can can find the best menu to suit your event.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We also provide fully trained staff to serve your event if required. We will discuss your requirements following your enquiry.
Should your venue not supply crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. we can happily arrange hire with one of our local partners. A range of styles are available for you to choose from.
